Marchak Jewelry

Marchak Jewelry

The House of Marchak is a respected jewelry firm founded in the late 19th century by Joseph Marchak in what was then Russia. His designs were recognized at the World’s Fair in 1893 and 1894, helping him gain international recognition for his work. His work rivaled that of Faberge and his designs were worn by aristocrats and even the Tsar himself.

The turmoil of World War I and Joseph Marchak’s death put a halt to the designs, but in the 1920s, Joseph’s son Alexander opened shop once again in Paris. Marchak jewelry pieces continued to be popular and admired for their beautiful craftsmanship, and a collection of Marchak jewelry was created in 2000 and exhibited internationally.
