Rounded trapezoid guilloche white dial with roman numeral markers, steel blue hands, sapphire-set crown, half-moon link bracelet with deployant clasp, all in 18k yellow gold. Dial, case and clasp signed Cartier.
Cartier’s ‘La Doña’ watch is named after Mexico’s most famous actress and notable Cartier client, María Félix. The watch pays homage to the style and custom Cartier animal inspired pieces of Félix, with the trapezoid case resembling a crocodile’s head and the bracelet links made to look like scales. This collection was launched in 2006 and is one of only two Cartier watch lines named after real people.
