Founded in 1837 in France by Thierry Hermès, the world famous firm of Hermès was originally established as a saddler and is still known today for the finest in luxury good products, from leather goods, to silk scarves, to high fashion clothes, to jewelry. Perhaps best known in terms of jewelry design for its timepieces, such as the Kelly watch, and colorful works in enamel, the House of Hermès also produces fine jewelry with the same commitment to artisanship and quality as is does for its more well know products such at the Kelly and Birkin handbags.
