Last night Chanel ushered in the start of Fashion Week (or month, as it were), with a well attended fête at Bergdorf Goodman in New York.
The party, a celebration of actress and Chanel face Keira Knightley, as well as the opening of The Jewel Box — a space embodying the feel of an 18th Century Parisian apartment and staged to house a dazzling selection of Chanel Fine Jewelry, attracted fashion insiders, celebrities and Chanel devotees who flocked to the 7th floor of the storied New York department store to drool over the jewels.
