Luminaries from the Los Angeles press, celebrity stylists and gem aficionados and bloggers, gathered for an intimate lunch and mini master class in how to appraise jewelry.

Led by Beladora founder and gemologist Russell Fogarty, the appraisal lesson called for guests to choose one diamond and one gold item and examine each through their jewelry loupes.

From ounces to carats, each step of basic appraisal was addressed, making the event a unique, hands-on experience where Beladora managed to blend both amazing food and dazzling jewels.
