Christian Dior

The world famous designer Christian Dior began his career working for French designer Robert Piguet, but with the backing of wealthy financiers launched his own fashion firm, the House of Dior, which saw immediate success with Dior's creation of the famous "New Look Collection" in the1940s.  Dior eventually used his talent in jewelry design as well, creating pieces for notable Old Hollywood legends and American aristocracy. Over the decades, the House of Dior has hired several talented jewelry designers to create its gorgeous fine jewelry collections, such as Yves Saint Laurent and, most currently, talented designer Victoire de Castellane.
